The flexible 3D measurement system.

The especially space-saving, user-friendly Rothballer 360 3D measurement system helps supply medical compression stockings, customized (milled) foot orthoses using the scan of the foam imprint, and custom orthopedic shoes using the 3D measurement of the foot to make the cleat.

The measurement is done contact-free with an infrared sensor. To capture the legs 360° up to the hips, the scanner moves around the customer twice in less than 25 seconds.  Automatic measurement of the other dimensions is based on the measurement points at the knee, crotch, and waist that have been set manually.

Next, a plausibility test is carried out that can reveal any discrepancies that need to be clarified. If necessary, the data can be adjusted manually to suit the customer’s requests. An order form can then be printed out and sent by email. Alternatively, the data can be transferred directly to the online shops of the associated manufacturing partners. There, the measurement data is processed further until the final order.
