What interfaces for industry software does Rothballer have?
In principle, the Rothballer software can be started from any program that executes external programs. An exchange file is defined that determines what customer data is entered into the software.
The following is a selection of the most common providers of industry software:
– Paedus
– MMOrthosoft
– TopM
– Sanivision
– Cosinus
– OptaData/EVA3
What is the difference between Rothballer.exe and TScan.exe?
Both programs access the same data. TScan.exe is limited to the essential functions, such as the foot scan, 3D scan, and treatment. These functions are set up visually to simplify the work for users with less computer experience.
What data is needed for the customer registration?
At least the first name, last name, and date of birth have to be entered. Please make sure to enter the date of birth as DD.MM.YYYY.
What to do in case of an error message: The hardlock could not be found?
Please make sure a hardlock is connected to the computer and the red status LED has lit up.
At the same time, you can check in the Windows device manager if the hardlock has been detected. If the LED is not lit up, reconnect the hardlock to the system. If this is not successful, please reinstall the driver (see download area).
What to do in case of an error message: Data directory could not be found.
Please make sure the specified directory can be found in Windows Explorer.
Connect to the specified directory or enter the correct directory in the software (Service => Settings => System settings => Network).
What do I do in case of an error message 339 or 711 after reinstallation?
This message is displayed if Adobe Flash Player is not installed in the system. Please install it.
Please note: Please install it in the Internet Explorer.
How do I obtain the activation code?
Click on the “Online” button. After the request is verified, you will automatically be activated on the same (work) day. The software can also be used without the code for 10 days.
If there is no Internet connection, print out the request and send the print out by fax to: +49 (0)961 / 204 90 999.
The foot scanner does not start and displays Error 200084 (Twain Device was not ready).
This error indicates that the scanner is not connected. The following causes could lead to this message:
- The computer is not connected to the scanner. Unplug the USB and power cables from the scanner and reconnect them after a short time (about 30 seconds). Then check the device manager or the taskbar to see if the scanners displayed. In the device manager, you can find the scanner in the “Imaging devices” entry under the name “Scanner 261”. In the taskbar, the scanner symbol must not be crossed out.
- If the scanner is still not working, we recommend reinstalling the driver (see download area).
- Make sure the correct scanner has been selected in Service => Settings => System settings => Peripherals => Scan => Peripherals => Foot scan. (A3 Basic = A320, A3 High-Speed = A360)
The printout is too small.
Open the calibration assistant (go to Service => Calibration assistant) and follow the instructions.
The feet are cut off on the printout.
Check the format of the printout. Please note that only shoe sizes of up to about 43 can be printed on an A4 sheet of paper. Or you can use a footprint sheet, an A3 printer, or our workshop combination.

Make sure that the “SCM eGK KVK Viewer” application is running in the taskbar and that the application is in the AutoStart folder. If necessary, restart the computer.
Error message “Wrong Date of language_ …” is displayed (name of DAT file may vary).
These errors can be caused by improperly performed updates or corrupt files.
Eliminate the error by reinstalling the software. Select “No to all” when you are asked if files should be updated.
The relevant software version can be found by entering the version in the download area.
